ELA- Point of View

1st Person Point of View

1st Person Point of View is someone telling you his or her story. This is when the narrator to him or herself. You will se 'I', 'me', 'my' and 'mine' in first person.

Second Person Point of View

Second Person Point of View is writing from the point of view of a narrative onlooker who is writing about you the reader. Second Person POV is when the reader is directly addressed with 'you' and 'yours'.

Third Person Point of View

Third Person Point of View is when a narrator is telling a story. Third Person POV can be limited or ominiscent. Limited means the narrator knows some of the details and feelings of the characters. Ominiscent is when the narrator knows all characters feelings and emotions.
