Women in Leadership



Week 1

In week one we will discuss the difference between managing and leading and how women are preceived in the workplace. Before you attend the session you will complete the assessment and complete some required reading. We will start first with an assessment to gauge our leaderships skills. We will then use the results of the assessment to help build a development plan for areas needed for improving these skills. You will leave with work that will need to be completed before you attend next week's session.



Week 2

In week two to we will further build on what we discussed in week one.We will also discuss Women in Leadership Roles, compare and contrast leadership styles of current women in leadership positions. We will then have a book discussion and talk about key leadership lessons that we will apply in the workforce.We will also discuss how to mentor and women in your organization.You will leave with action plans to further develop your leadership skills. We will meet again in a month where we will further discuss the next leadership skill set.
