Family Homework will be sent home with the monthly newsletter at the beginning of the month. Family Homework is meant to be a fun, hands-on, project for your child to complete with anyone in the home. Please be unique and use any materials you would like! We will also send home a variety of supplies (i.e. student scissors, glue, crayons, etc.) in a “homework help bag” that can be used to complete the activity.
The students LOVE returning their work, having the teachers discuss their work with them, and seeing the work displayed on our Family Homework Bulletin Board. Please allow students to make choices and participate in the hands-on portion to the best of their ability. Please help us reach our goal of 100% family participation!
October Family Homework: Each student has chosen his or her own Fall coloring sheet to bring home to you. Please discuss colors with your child as you complete the sheet. Use any materials you would like. Remember to put the names of everyone who participated in the activity on the back and return by 10/14 (or sooner if possible!)
