Pro-Act Recertification / Refersher Courses

The principles that Pro-ACT teaches are on of the most important skills a Psychiatric Technician (or any other direct care staff) need to know!

We realize that if you are not using these principles on a daily basis you could easily forget some of the mothods for regulating our clients or completely forgetting how to properly conduct a restraint application. Which puts both you and our clients at risk.

If you ever feel like you need to take a refresher Pro-ACT course, you're more than welcome to do so! Talk to your supervisor about auditing (attending without recertifcation credit) one of the Pro-ACT course. A schedule can be found below:



Pro-ACT Instructor Training

Has the idea of becoming a Pro-ACT Instructor for SLPRC ever crossed your mind?

To Qualify You Must: Have worked in a direct care posistion for at least one year. Have a willingness to learn and be able to travel to training site. Most instructor training is generally offered outside of the St. Louis Metro Area.
