Stage 2

The rhythm section is the foundation for your song. We will start here.

Step 1

Open your Song Creation Project from your Google Drive

Step 2

Open Chrome Music Lab: Song Maker and locate the bottom, rhythm section

Step 3

Create a pattern which repeats in each measure. The measures are separated by white and gray background colors.

Step 4

Look over the "Tips" box on this page for pointers to make your rhythm even better.

Step 5

Listen to your rhythmic section to be sure you hear the repeating pattern. Have a friend listen too, if you are not sure.
